The Botanicals Photo Gallery

The Botanicals is my first "serious fine art" collection. Earlier work, some of the first things I printed, and the solo first show I hung. It was featured at Cafe Paloma, Pioneer Square, Seattle April 2002.

Being part of First Thursday, getting a glowing review in The Seattle Weekly, and coming out as a photographer was a big deal for me. A big fuckin' deal. I can't tell you. As someone who was told that my work wasn't "professional quality" and not worth bothering with, to have strangers gush and emote and respond positively was deeply moving.
