Ready to look at some photos? Well these photographs of mine are arranged in photo galleries by subject or in a series. Hover your mouse over each thumbnail to display each photo gallery's title. There are loads of photos to look at; take your time. In addition to these, I also have photos on Flickr.
Since lots of folks seem to visit here (and I can't for the life of me tell why), I've decide to do a set of links. For starters, a Penthouse photographer's tips.
Click on a thumbnail below to visit that photo collection.
If you can't decide, may I suggest starting with misc. photos.
JetCityOrange began as a photo web site way back when. Over the years it's morphed into more than just a place I display my digital photography. While I still carry a camera with me wherever I go (a Canon SD650 these days) I take pictures for different reasons than I did 5 or 6 years ago. Photography has become part of who I am, something I always do. I'm not trying to be a "photographer" any more. I'm just a guy with a camera (or two).
I take one or more pictures every day. Most of what I shot ends up online, here, in my blog, or on Flickr. Now I'm trying to maintain a photo of the day gallery.
I print rarely if at all. Collecting fine art photography has captured the passion once reserved for making my own art. I'm fortunate enough to own work by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Marion Post Wolcott, Pirkle Jones, Ruth Bernhard, Helen Levitt, Ron van Dongen, Joe Schwartz, Flip Schulke, Steven Shames, Ilka Hartmann, and others. Yes, I'm hooked and happily so.
I really love street photography. I'm a passionate practicioner of flaneur, urban meanderings, camera in tow. I've wandered the country over the last 6 years or so, capturing graffiti, street art, signs, and the random visual juxtapositions I encounter. I have a fondness for neighborhoods in transition and city ecosystems. I try to see the things most pass by without looking at.
I've been lucky enough to have three of my photos used on Jones Soda labels. I have a copy of photos in their online gallery too. Search for "JetCityOrange" on this page.
