Another term for FILO (first in, last out), LIFO (Last In First Out) refers list processing and data storage. LIFO describes a stack of paper whereby the last thing placed on the pile is on top and hence the first thing taken off.
Examples of a LIFO stack in real life include:

blog entries
those crumpled up sweaty bills in the cash register drawer. Yucko!
