Another term for FCFS (first come, first served), FIFO (first in first out) refers list processing and data storage. FIFO is what polite people do when standing in line (queueing). You get in line first you leave the line first.
Examples of a FIFO stack in real life include:
voicemail
toll booth
that endless line outside the women's room at popular public events
first class passengers on an airplane (bummer if you aren't one of them)
meat, poultry, & fish in grocery store shelf (you hope)
alimentary canal (proof: corn on the cob)
