hear me as i talk you through
One would thing sitting and meditating would be easy. Just sit there, close your eyes, and don’t do anything, right? How hard can it be?
Meditating is more than merely doing nothing. Like anything else, you have to study and then practice over a period of time. You get better at it over time. There are no shortcuts or cheats.
Regular meditation is relaxing and calming. It helps relieve stress and tension. When quiet yourself and turn your attention inward, things happen. For the better. But don't take my word for it; try it for yourself.
I’ve prepared a set of guided meditations. There are six different versions, each with slightly different wording. After you hear my voice there's a pause of 10, 15, or 20 minutes and followed by the sound of 3 bells. My suggestion is to try all of the variations and use the one(s) you like. Try rotating them. Choose a time period that works for you. Sit for longer periods as you become more comfortable meditating.
Beging by finding a quiet, peaceful place, away from noise and distractions. Turn off your cell phone and your other gadgets. Make yourself comfortable. Focus on your breath. Listen to the words and relax.
