Believe it or not, the Black Panther Party had a musical group, The Lumpen. The Lumpen included Bill Calhoun, Clark (Santa Rita) Bailey, James Mott and Michael Torrance, who wrote a history of the group on It’s About Time.

The Lumpen released a single with Free Bobby Now on the A side and 'No More on the B side.
