The Simpsons Movie opens July 27, 2007. In anticipation 7-Eleven has redesign 12 of their stores as Kwik E Marts. Lisa and I stumbled across the store here in Seattle. I took pictures.
I already had trips planned to New York and The Bay. And whadda ya know, there's a Kwik-E-Mart near Times Square and another one in Mt. View. You guessed it; I took pictures.
Coleman wanted to go shopping somewhere near Times Square so we stopped in the 7-Eleven, errrr, "Kwik-E-Mart". Smaller than the Seattle store and not quite as convincing a makeover. Fun nevertheless.
As long as I was in The Bay how could I resist hitting the Mt. View Kwik-E-Mart? I couldn't. Besides it was on hte way to the San Jose Fry's, the Mayan one. Wouldn't you know, they were having a promotion that day giving away Buzz Cola with a sandwhich or salad purchase. They had a f*cking door man to control the crowd. At 7-Eleven.
Not wanted to be left out, JetBlue is now the official airline of Springfield. When I flew from Seattle to Boston I wasn't sure that was such a good thing. First of all, it was Friday the 13th. Secondly, having Homer give me the thumbs up didn't instill confidence I would ever see Boston again. Unfortunately no one came around offering me Duff Beer. On the postive side, Montgomery Burns graces JetBlue's web site.
