6. Buddhism sidesteps the whole God question.
5. Being a householder rocks!
4. There's absolutely no conflict between science and Buddhism.
3. Vajrayana is communalism at its best. It's about *everybody*.

1. Who wouldn't want His Holiness the Dalai Lama as their root guru?
I also love the reaction I get from ethnic Buddhists when they find out I'm a Buddhist too. Living in Seattle there's no shortage of Asian-Americans, some who express surprise and/or disbelief upon hearing the news. I was quizzed by a Vietnamese gentleman who cut my hair. Then again I'm not sure he understood when I answered "Avalokiteshvara or Chenrezig". He was expecting Guan Yin (Kuan Yin) I guess. Needless to say, he remembered me when I went back the next time!
Not to be disrespectful but there's no awkwardly corny creation myth to deal with either. Big Bang works just fine thankyouverymuch.
