Five part meditation timers

Some practice a style of meditation that has five sections (chaotic meditation, active meditation, dynamic meditation).

In response to a request from Dawn, I made several 5-part timers to be used by those who practice chaotic meditation.

This meditative practice is quite active in contrast to the sedentary, silent techniques most associate with meditation. Each of the five segments has a specific activity associated with it.

If this is your practice, you need a simple, unobtrusive way to measure the 5 equal time increments. Here are three times with intervals of 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes, punctuated by a bell.

1 minute  [bell]  1 minute  [bell]  1 minute  [bell]  1 minute  [bell]  1 minute   [bell]
2 minute  [bell]  2 minute  [bell]  2 minute  [bell]  2 minute  [bell]  2 minute   [bell]
5 minute  [bell]  5 minute  [bell]  5 minute  [bell]  5 minute  [bell]  5 minute   [bell]

Right-click on each filename to download the MP3 file. Save it onto your computer. You can run the timer on your computer, copy it to your MP3 player or cell phone, or burn a CD.

This is not the style I practice and I don't have firsthand experience using it. If you have feedback or suggestions for improvement after using these timers please share it with me. Thanks!     - Jerry
